Mitch and Amanda muñoz,
ceo & co-founders
Mitch and Amanda moved to Guatemala in 2013 as missionaries through Mobilizing Students, a non-profit missions organization. A year after living and working in Guatemala, Mitch and Amanda were burdened by the need of the villages they had been working in. One of the biggest needs these villagers faced was unemployment. A lack of job opportunity usually resulted in hungry families and poor health. They knew that meeting the root of the problem was the only solution. From their burdened hearts and a passion to see transformation, The Thrive Collective was born. In addition to the business, they are planting a church, training pastors, and leading mission teams in Guatemala. They both enjoy a good cup of coffee and running. They live in Santa Rosa, Guatemala with their dog Olive.
Stan and cassie Shelton,
Stan and Cassie Shelton came to Guatemala the summer of 2014 and immediately fell in love with its people and culture. They knew that their one week trip would turn into a life long love for missions and Guatemala. Stan and Cassie are dreamers, and like Mitch and Amanda, they wanted to be a part of something bigger than themselves. Bringing with them their passion for the Gospel, business, and social good, they have teamed up with Mitch and Amanda to build The Thrive Collective into a brand that empowers others and helps communities to Thrive. The Shelton’s live on a farm in Stigler, Oklahoma with their 3 kids and many animals.
